The White Woffs are as their name suggests, a subspecies of woff that appears in both the animated series and the novelization. It makes no appearance in any of the graphic novels.

These woffs look pretty much the same as any regular Woff, except they have white fur rather than brown.
Biography[]
A White Woff is first seen in "Chapter 6: The Old Bells of Trolberg". At the start of the episode, Frida states she hopes to see a White Woff because spotting one means that Magic is especially powerful that lunar cycle. At the end of the episode, the white woff is briefly seen.
In "Chapter 13: The Stone Forest", Frida and David find the white woff sleeping among a herd of Woff. Frida tries to approach the white woff, but inadvertently wakes it and the other woff up and startles them. In their panic, they collide with the zeppelin of the Trolberg Safety Patrol, causing it to crash. In the climax of the episode, the White Woff returns and catches Hilda and Twig after they jump off a cliff to escape the Two-Headed Troll. This same scene also happens in "Hilda and the White Woff".
In "Chapter 8: The Fairy Isle", a whole flock of White Woffs is seen in Fairy Country. Hilda and Johanna ride one to follow Lydia to her house. The fact that white woff are not rare in Fairy Country is also brought up in the tie-in book Hilda and the Fairy Village".

- In the graphic novel "Hilda and the Stone Forest", from which Chapter 13 is adapted, it was The Great Raven that saved Hilda and Twig from the two-headed troll rather than the white woff.
- According to "Hilda's Book of Beasts and Spirits", seeing a White Woff is a good luck sign for witches.
