Hilda: A Netflix Original Series Wiki

Okay so I started my rewatch of the first season of Hilda in preparation for the release of Season 2 and I thought it'd be fun to spread it out over the course of four weeks instead of just spreading it out over the course of a few days like I did when I watched it for the first time in 2018 and when I rewatched in 2019 so I decided that I'd do a blog for the next 4 weeks every Monday giving my overall thoughts rewatching the series for the third time so here we go. Chapter 1: The Hidden People. I love the way that we get to see the world of Trolberg in the opening scene and see what the world looks like before getting introduced to the titular character Hilda voiced by Bella Ramsey and I feel like Bella does an incredible job voicing Hilda. I always forget how gorgeous the animation looks in this show until I see it in motion. We get introduced to Hilda in the middle of an adventure then having to run from a troll. I just feel like this show is gonna become a comfort show for me because I wish I could get the chance to rewatch Hilda with a clean slate because there was something magical discovering this show for the first time. This show just means so much to me and I can't wait for Season 2. Chapter 2: The Midnight Giant is one of my personal favorite episodes of the show because I feel it's the episode that has the most Hayoi Miyazaki feel to me since I notice this episode has a blue hue throughout the episode that makes me think of the work of Hayoi Miyazaki feel to me. Chapter 3: The BIrd Parade is another episode of Hilda where I get an even stronger feel of Hayoi Miyazaki particularly towards the end of the episode when Hilda is flying around on The Thunderbird and I feel that the colors in this episode are very strong and pretty to look at.
