Tontu is a nisse that appears in the graphic novels and the animated series, playing the same role in both.
Appearance[]
Tontu is rather small compared to other nisse. He has thick dark brown hair covering his whole head and a rounded nose. He wears red with a comb-shaped hat (although only in the animated series), and has no visible arms.

Animated series[]
Sometime prior to the events of "Chapter 13: The Black Hound", Tontu (alongside many other nisse) was banished from his home due to a misunderstanding. His home's owners thought he had trashed their house, but in reality the ruckus was caused by a barghest named Jellybean, who had been using Nowhere Space to travel around the city in an attempt to find his owner, Tontu (beta).
Upon learning of their mass banishing, Hilda began asking any nisse she could find about what had happened in "Chapter 13: The Black Hound", including Tontu.
Tontu returned alongside many other nisse in "Chapter 7: Strange Frequencies", having been invited to a meeting hosted by Frida, who hoped to solve their mistrust of each other.
