Tontu (omega)

All Nisse are named Tontu. This Tontu is designated "Omega" because he's the third Nisse that Hilda meets.

Tontu is a nisse that appears in the graphic novels and the animated series, thus playing the same role within both.

However, he makes no appearance in the novelization.

Appearance[]

Tontu is a small, humanoid creature who almost looks identical to Tontu (alpha), for their both around the same size as each other, he also has thick brown hair covering his whole head and a rounded nose. Although unlike Hilda's Tontu, his eyes are visible plus this Tontu also has a pair of lighter brown eyebrows and a moustache.

Biography[]

Animated series[]

While roughly sometime prior to the franchise and apparently alike other nisse, Tontu was banished from his home by the owner after they accused him for sometime he didn't even do thus in which case and same as all other results, was actually caused by a barghest named Jellybean who had been loose in the city of Trolberg.

In "Chapter 13: The Black Hound", Hilda noticed a nisse wandering Trolberg that at first, she erroneously assumed was Tontu. Therefore, Hilda and Twig followed him down into an alley where they soon realized he isn't Tontu, although this particular nisse stated he was in fact "Tontu" but Hilda explained that she's looking another Tontu only for him to reveal "Tontu", is a name which supposedly all nisse are called by themselves.

Tontu returned along with all practically the other nisse in "Chapter 7: Strange Frequencies", although for some reason, he sounded different. He was invited to a meeting hosted by Frida hoping to make peace with them towards each other, who she bumped into and mistook him for the other Tontu

Graphic novels[]

Tontu's role within the graphic novel "Hilda and the Black Hound", is all similar to the animated series. Where Hilda briefly mistaken him for her friend Tontu.

It is unknown if whether or not he found a new home to live in.
He wears the same type of sweater as Tontu (alpha).
In the Hilda Creatures app game, he is listed as "Olaf Tontu".
