Tontu is a nisse that first appears in "Chapter 9: The Ghost". The character does not appear in any of the Graphic Novels or the Hilda Tie-In Series.
Appearance[]
Tontu has has blond hair with a round nose, like Tontu (alpha). He wears a red hat, blue dress and red boots.
Biography[]
In Season 1, his role in the animated series is small, yet his actions have a big impact on the last quarter of Season 1. He steals Frida's copy of The Legend of Great King Condon, which kicks off a series of events that lead to Frida having a falling out with her friends David and Hilda, after which she befriends Kelly and almost joins the Marra.
After being absent in all of Season 2, he returns in the Season 3 episode "Chapter 7: Strange Frequencies". Here, he formally meets Frida and asks her for help as nisse in Trolberg have suddenly begun stealing from each other. Another nisse has stolen his timer. This inspires Frida to organize a town hall meeting to get all the nisse to talk things over. Tontu also attends this meeting, but like the other nisse he is too stubborn to cooperate and eventually ends up in a huge fight with them. Despite her meeting being a failure, Frida gives Tontu a new timer to replace the one that was stolen.
