Tontu is the Nisse that lives in David's house. He only appears in the animated series.
Appearance[]
Tontu has a body that is completely covered in hair, and a rather long neck compared to the rest of his body. He has a big, round nose identical to that of Tontu.
Biography[]
It is unknown how long Tontu has been living in David's house already, but he evidently kept a low profile since David believed there was no Nisse in his house.
When David discovered that Victoria Van Gale was up to no good again and he had to warn Hilda, but his dad wouldn't let him leave the house that night, David decided to ask Tontu for a ride through Nowhere Space. Inspired by what Hilda told him earlier, David made an offering to Tontu consisting of several items from his room, including some rocks from his collection. At first Tontu did not respond, but when David accidentally added a can of multipurpose grease that Victoria had given him earlier to the offering, Tontu took the bait. He thus gave David a ride to Hilda's house.
In "Chapter 7: Strange Frequencies", he is among the many nisse that attend the town hall meeting organized by Frida, and ends up in a fight with other nisse there.
