This character is never called by name in any Hilda media. She is the owner of the house that Tontu (alpha) used to live in |
This unnamed woman is the owner of the house that Tontu used to live in before he was banished. She appears in both the graphic novels and the animated series. Her role is the same in both incarnations for Season 1. Season 2 gives her 2 more cameos not based on the graphic novels.
Appearance[]
She is a middle-aged woman with graying hair. In both incarnation, she wears a white sweater. In the graphic novels, she also wears white earrings.
Biography[]
She lives in a yellow house, with a large garden with a duck pond. During the time he still lived in her house, Tontu was rather fond of the duck in this pond.
One night, she awoke due to a loud noise in the living room, and when she went downstairs to take a look, she found her whole living room trashed, with Tontu standing among the chaos. Naturally, she assumed Tontu had caused the damage while ransacking her living room, and she promptly banished him from her home. Unbeknown to her, the real culprit was the Barghest Jellybean, who knew how to use the Nowhere Spaces due to him being raised by a Nisse.
Afterwards, she donated all her damaged stuff to the Sparrow Scouts for their jumble sale.
On the day of the Sparrow Scout's badge ceremony, Hilda, who was wandering around Trolberg, accidentally came across the woman's house. Realizing that this was the house Tontu used to live in, she decided to ask the owner about Tontu, and thus heard the story of Tontu's supposed vandalism.
In "Chapter 10: The Yule Lads", she is briefly seen decorating her home for the Trolberg Winter Festival. In "Chapter 12: The Replacement", she is seen at the farmers market, getting caught up in the chaos caused by the Delegation for the Return of Wayward Elves chasing after Alfur.
