The Knolem

The Knolem was one of the ancient giants. It appears in the graphic novel "Hilda and the Midnight Giant" and the animated series.

Appearance[]

The Knolem was one of the smallest giants, though still bigger than a Forest Giant. It basically looked like a grassy hill with eyes.

Graphic novels[]

In "Hilda and the Midnight Giant", the Knolem is only seen on a two-page image depicting the ancient giants. The biography of the Knolem only mentions it was mean spirited.

The Knolem plays no role in any of the stories as the ancient giants left the Earth long before the time the stories are set.

Animated series[]

In "Chapter 2: The Midnight Giant", the Knolem is seen in a flashback leaving the Earth along with other giants. It also appears on an image in Wood Man's book "The Giants of Old".

Trivia[]

The Knolem did not appear in "Chapter 3: The Giantslayer".
- In "Hilda and the Faratok Tree", after the Faratok tree sends her 3000 years into the past, Hilda meets the ancient giants. She attends their Grand Council meeting where 18 giants gather. It is left unclear if the Knolem is one of them as it is not depicted on any of the images nor called by name in the text.
