The Raven Leader (real name unknown, she's only addressed by her title) is the leader of the Sparrow Scouts in the animated series, the graphic novels, and novelization.
Appearance[]
She is an adult woman of undetermined age. She has black eyes, and greying hair.
She is always seen in her Sparrow Scouts uniform.
Personality[]
Raven Leader is a strict but fair leader. She doesn't have much tolerance for kids stepping out of line, but has her priorities in check; when she caught Hilda and David sneaking off in the night during camp, but they told they saw the Black Hound, she didn't punish them since evacuating the camp was more important. She clearly cares for the children under her care. In "Hilda and the Black Hound", she could be seen cheering up Hilda when it was clear the girl would not earn any badges that year.
Role in the series[]
In all incarnations of the franchise, she appears to be the only leader of the Sparrow Scouts, and in general one of very few adults associated with the scouts.
She is responsible for taking the oath from new recruits, assigning the Sparrow Scouts their badge challenges, handing out earned badges during the badge ceremony, supervise the end-of-year camp, and (in the animated series) oversee the auditions for the Warblers.
