The Mulch Manager is an unnamed character who appears in Chapter 4: The Sparrow Scouts. He does not appear in the graphic novels.
He works at the Trolberg Mulching Centre, collecting garden waste in the day and acts as a guard at night.
Appearance[]
He is a slightly tanned man with short dark brown hair and a mustache. He wears a red and grey sweater, brown trousers, light brown shoes and a red beanie.
Personality[]
He is very passionate about his job, as shown by his "Mulcho Man" mug and his somewhat over-enthusiasm over the centre's mulching machine, "The Big Chipper". He knows several facts about said mulching machine and particularly stresses, somewhat darkly, how it can mulch anything.
Biography[]
In "Chapter 4", he accepted the sleeping Vitrra from Hilda, Frida and David, like them unaware of their true nature and believe them to be smelly weeds. After explaining to them their state of the art mulching machine, The Big Chipper, he instructed them where to leave their load for tomorrow nights run.
The next night he was watching TV, unaware of the young Sparrow Scouts's rescue of the sleeping Vittra atop The Big Chipper.
In "Chapter 10: The Yule Lads" he is seen at the market of the Trolberg Winter Festival, announcing that the Sonstansil Tree will bloom in the next 24 hours.

- He seems to have a keen sense of smell, able to discern the exact combination of odours of the sleeping Vittra.
