Lloyd is a character appearing in "Chapter 3: The Witch". He is an associate of The Committee of Three.
Appearance[]
Lloyd is a man with long, blonde hair. He wears gray pants and a black cape, but nothing to cover his torso.
He looks human, and the animated series gives no reason to suspect he is not. In the novel "Hilda and the Ghost Ship" however, Kaisa calls Lloyd a "bass-playing monster", thus implying that he is something else.
Biography[]
Lloyd works for the Committee of Three in Witches Tower. He wields a unitar, that can open or close the gate to the Void of No Return, which is his primary task.
In "Chapter 3: The Witch", he first opens the gate briefly so the Committee can show Kaisa that they are serious about throwing her into the void if she fails to get a missing book back. Near the end of the episode, he opens the gate again when the committee wants to throw Hilda, Frida and Kaisa into the void. While the Committee and Matilda Pilqvist argue about the fate of the three, Lloyd warns them the gate should not be open for too long. His warning comes too late, however, the creature in the void begins to reach out into Witches Tower, and first pulls Lloyd into the void. Lloyd is not seen again, even after Kaisa, Hilda, and Frida defeat the creature, and it can be assumed he did not survive.
Trivia[]
- He is the only male seen in Witches Tower.
- While he is mentioned by Kaisa in "Hilda and the Ghost Ship", he makes no physical appearance there.
