Hilda and the Mountain King is the sixth book in the Hilda series of graphic novels, written and illustrated by Luke Pearson. It was published on September 3, 2019.

It is currently unknown if the book will be adapted into Season 2 of the animated series.

Summary

Picking up where the previous novel left off, Hilda is now transformed into troll, while a strange creature has taken her place in Trolberg. While Hilda's mother is worried sick about her daughter, Hilda has to find a way home. Soon, both of them are in a race to be reunited before Ahlberg and his safety patrol get the chance to use their new secret weapon to lay waste to the trolls, and Hilda along with them.
