Trivia[]

  • When Hilda and the Mountain King (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) was released, composer Carlson announced on Twitter that the soundtracks of Seasons 1 and 2 would be released in the future. These soundstracks were released together a month later.
  • Other songs used in Season 2 are original songs from mostly Indie Bands that the series got permission for to use in the series. These are not original songs written for any of the episodes and are therefore not included on the album.
  • Life of Hilda is the only song on the Album that wasn't written or composed by Carlson. It's recorded, written, and composed by Bella Ramsey.
  • Despite Oliver Nelson also singing 'Don't let your love fly away' in the credits of the episode The Lost Clan and singing it as David throughout the episode, his version of the song was not released. The released version is the 'original' song that David listens too on his walkman.
  • Altough the album contains only the soundtrack from Season 2, the album cover is a image from the opening of Chapter 9: The Ghost, a Season 1 episode.
