Fairies of Tofoten is a book that Hilda finds at Astrid's house in "Chapter 1: The Train to Tofoten".
The book sparks Hilda's interest in fairies, but after she falls asleep while reading the book in bed that evening, she has a nightmare in which she is almost dragged into a fairy mound.
