Draugen Captain

This unnamed Draugen Captain is a minor character appearing in "Chapter 7: The Beast of Cauldron Island".

Appearance[]

Like all Draugen, he has a transparent body that glows with a green light. He carries his bones inside this body. His eyes are glowing with red light.

He wears a captains hat and a worn down shirt. He has a beard and hair made of seaweed, and a hook in his right hand.

Biography[]

It is unknown when this Draug died. In life, he was a pirate captain whose ship participated in a nautical battle near Cauldron Island. After his dead, he was cursed to clean up the wrecks of the ships that sank in this battle for all eternity.

Hilda, Frida, and Wood Man meet him when they visit the ship wrecks with help of a Water Spirit. The captain tries to get one of them to take the curse from him, but they all decline. When Hilda asks the captain if he knows what has been attacking ships near Cauldron Island, the captain reveals that whatever it is, it's sound frightens even him. He flees in terror upon hearing the sound, which is later revealed to be the roar of a Kraken.
