Biography[]
Animated series[]
In "Chapter 1: The Train to Tofoten", the egg somehow got separated from its mother where it was later found by the Pooka who stuffed it in his bag. The Pooka took the egg to Astrid's house to borrow an egg cup, but Astrid suspected something was wrong and took the egg from the Pooka. Hilda, Johanna, Frida, and David vowed to return it back home in the Woff cave. They managed to bring the egg back to it's nest despite another attempt by The Pooka to take the egg. No sooner had they returned the egg where it eventually hatched.
When the protagonists had to ride the woffs to get out of the cave, Alfur ended up riding on the baby woff.
Novelization[]
The scene where the Pooka shows up at Astrid's house with the woff egg was adapted into the book "Hilda and the Fairy Village". Once Astrid and Hilda take the egg from the Pooka however, Astrid asks her pet Loam to return the egg to it's nest in the cave. None of the protagonists accompany Loam, and they thus don't get to see the egg hatch.
