Ako Mitchell is an British-American actor, writer, and director, known for I'm in the Corner with the Bluebells, Aliens vs. Predator, and Lake Placid: The Final Chapter. Ako is also known for his extensive stage work including Sister Act with Whoopi Goldberg and Fences with Lenny Henry both in London's West End.
In the Hilda-series, he provides the voice of the Wood Man, as well as various additional voices of guest characters. He reprised his role of Wood Man for the audiobook version of the Hilda Tie-In Series, in which he also took over for Cory English as the voice for The Great Raven.
